I began my journey in science with a BA (Hons) in Human Sciences from the University of Oxford, where I studied the intersection of Social and Biological sciences to understand what makes us human. I then completed a PhD in Neuroscience at King’s College London, and also spent time at MPI for Animal Behaviour in Konstanz, Germany during my PhD studies. I am now at the Friedrich Miescher Institute of Biomedical Research in Basel, Switzerland as a Postdoctoral researcher.
In science, I’m interested in the brain and behaviour. I combine neuroscience with animal behaviour and computational analysis, and use cutting-edge tools like microscope imaging, modelling, and virtual reality to test behaviours. You can read more about my research here.
I bring science to the public through creating workshops, talks, and interactive activities for all ages, and have won multiple awards for my work. I am also a trustee with in2scienceUK and I’m dedicated to making science accessible to everyone, regardless of background. Now I live in Basel, I am excited to get involved in projects across Switzerland and Europe!
